Photodissociation regions (PDRs) include all of the neutral
gas in the ISM where far-ultraviolet (FUV) photons dominate the chemistry
What is PDRT?
The Photo Dissociation Region Toolbox
is a suite of tools designed to help you determine the physical parameters of
photodissociation regions (PDRs) from your observations.
With PDRT you can:
Browse contour plots from PDR models.
Go directly to your desired model plot.
Line Ratio Fitting program
to find the G0 and n which best fit your data.
Vianney Lebouteiller has created an IDL scripting interface for PDR Line Ratio Fit.
It runs the PDR toolbox web script and then parses the results.
Download the ZIP file. The README file
explains its use; further questions can be sent to

- Phil Cigan from New Mexico Tech has written a Python interface similar
to Vianney's script. Download the Gzipped tar file. The README.txt file explains its use; further questions
can be set to pcigan AT nmt.edu
